5 Habits That Will Help You To Wake Up Early

I still remember When my 10th boards were running, I used to search this question “how to wake up early” and find answers to this. My grandfather says that after getting up in the morning, you remember anything quickly and remember it with speed without putting in any major effort. We often hear that people (mostly elders) are talking that we should wake up early in the morning. Waking up early keeps our mind fresh and relaxed. A person who wakes up early in the morning can start his/her work earlier than others and that’s good for us. The morning is a great time to develop new healthy habits. You can finish the book that you started 2 months before but you have no time to read it again.
In today’s hectic schedule you have no time for workouts or exercises but if you wake up early YOU CAN! you can learn new things, new skills in the morning, and as I told you your mind is so fresh and active in the morning so you can easily understand the things and learn that particular topic.
If you wake up early in the morning, it starts your routine early, you take your breakfast on time, which is good for your body. Also, you are more active, so in this way, it can also help you to stay physically fit as we as mentally fit. There are also health benefits of waking up early like it controls blood sugar levels and cholesterol also. But here I’m only talking about how it is productive for us.
So your question is how to wake up early? To be honest, I do not need any alarm device, I wake up on my own and I sometimes get more sleep or sleep late, so my mother wakes me up.
So for me, it is not so difficult to wake up in the morning, but if you live in a hostel or alone, then, of course, you can wake up your alarm clock or your phone. But even if the alarm is not able to wake you up, I have 2 tips related to the alarm clock:
1. Alarm Tone Rule:
You are sleeping — the alarm is ringing — trying to waking you up — SNOOZE 😴am I right? I know it happens and that’s not your fault. The problem is you set a boring alarm tone that doesn’t give you good vibes or energy to wake up early. I’m talking about alarm tones- YES!
Why do you set a boring alarm tone where we have thousands of rock and positive music? Give a try to them too. It can be your favorite dance song or any rock song that forces you to dance or sing that particular song.
What’s better than your favorite song waking you up? All I want to say is change your alarm tone now and try some cheerful and energetic songs that will surely wake you up early with positive and happy vibes. Try this out once.
2. Alarm Place Rule:
It is very easy to sleep by snoozing as soon as the alarm is sounded. Who likes morning disturbance, right? So, you have also set the alarm and set your favorite alarm tone, then you fall asleep thinking that you will wake up early in the morning and do all your work.
After dreaming sweet all night, it happened in the morning and the alarm sounded. What will you do? Will you snooze? Let’s snooze for once too. After five minutes the alarm started ringing again, what will you do? Of course snooze because you have the option to snooze it.
If the alarm clock or your phone is so close to you that your hand is reaching it easily And you can snooze it so you won’t be able to wake up soon. How to wake up then?
The solution I have is you have to put your alarm clock or your phone in a place where your hand cannot reach. If your hand won’t reach it So you will not be able to snooze and then you will wake up to set off the alarm and YOU AWAKE. Try this once, it really works.
3. Challenge Yourself:
This is the thing which I have done many times to wake up early. As the saying goes “your only competition is you” I strongly believe in this. I really try to be the best version of myself, not perfect.
You can challenge yourself to wake up early and when there is a challenge, your brain will automatically try to push you forward so it will also be easy for you. And when you complete your early wake-up challenge, reward yourself for completing this challenge. Reward yourself by the thing that you love. It can be a tasty choco pie or a new tie-dye tee.
4. Sleep Early:
Early to bed early to rise! This is a good habit. Many people say this, there is also the logic behind this. Develop a habit to sleep early, don’t be an insomniac person. I understand your workload, your dreams but can you please give yourself some rest? Hustling is good but self-care is more important my friend.
Just sleep early and wake up early. You can do your work in the morning also and it can be faster than the work you do at the night time. In the early morning, there is no one to disturb you. So it’s so peaceful to work in the morning.
5. Mindset Is Everything:
See guys you don’t need any motivation to wake up early, you just need self-discipline and determination. If you think like ugh… Why me, why I have so much work and all then you will never wake up early. You have to do it for yourself. No one is going to do it for you. So make sure that your mindset is perfect for it. You have to build your mindset for this. Just think, determine and go for it.
You must be thinking that Only those who wake up early in the morning become successful, so what will happen to those who work overnight? They are also doing hard work na. Haha, see there is no such thing as that, you can also be successful if you work or study at night.
Oprah Winfrey is usually in bed by 10 p.m. and wakes up naturally around 6 a.m. while The CEO of the cloud file-syncing and file-sharing company Box wakes up at 10 a.m. and they both are successful, so there is no thing like perfect timing. You know your time, you know what suits you. So decide accordingly.
